The Information Assurance Analyst will play a critical role in applying knowledge of Department of Defense IA policy at the national IA structure level; conduct reviews of policy, doctrine, and regulations and make appropriate recommendations to improve the assured protection of IT networks and systems. As an IA analyst you will play a key role in protecting against unauthorized access and control; process Account Management and Provisioning System Access; establish priority of account creations or modifications using REMEDY for an array of systems across the enterprise; and create the appropriate system generated reports for management review and analysis, specifically ITSM REMEDY Activity Report and AMPS Activity Report.


- Use ITSM Remedy to track end-user support requests
- Use Account Management and Provisioning System to manage access and controls
- Modify end user accounts according to policy and regulation
- Determine proper access levels and controls to protect critical IT systems and networks
- Monitor phone lines to facilitate end-user requests for access to mission critical resources
- Communicate with end-users via phone and email on status of support requests to ensure mission success

Performance Responsibilities:

- Complete end-user requirements and services requests in a timely manner
- Provide timely and accurate submissions of System generated reports to principal decision makers
- Adhere to established standards, metrics, and policies and make recommendations to improve upon them.

Basic Qualifications:

- Four years general IT experience
- Two years Information Assurance experience
- Security Plus ( + ) certified or other IAT II or higher certification 

Desired Skills & Experience:

Experience with the following Systems and platforms is desired but not required:
-Account Management & Provisioning Systems (AMPS)
-The successful candidate must hold a DOD 8570 IAT II certification (Security +)

Must have favorably adjudicated Secret Clearance.
